The Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and The Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) are two organizations, one provincial, and the other national that are important to know about. Members are expected to conduct business under the Association’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Continuing education is required as is liability insurance. A four year Interior Design degree is required for membership, as is passing a qualifying exam, called the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. (NCIDQ)
